Ben's Tiger Scout Graduation and Raingutter Regatta

End of 9th GPA

At the close of the year, many high school students report to their guidance counselors to get their GPA's and class rank.  Daniel's couselor handed him this note.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Chocolate covered strawberries for an end of the year party, now that's an ending to remember!

Made solely by Larissa for her 7th grade Citizenship Class.

Ben's Annual School Picnic

Today was the annual HIP (Hearing Impaired Program) picnic. In addition to playing with friends the

fun included decorating a sand pail for castle building

climbing a tree

decorating and eating cupcakes

 and spinning on a wheel.

The kids waited a long time for a turn on the wheel, one of the boys father was spinning them awful fast and  after a few minutes Ben was looking pale. They stopped the ride, he got off and said he felt like vomiting so he sat next to me for a while.  He was soon feeling better and decided to go for another spin.  Again, when the ride stopped he felt sick, I carried him to the car where he laid down as I drove home.  Once home I carried him upstairs and as soon as I laid him on the bed, he hollered "I need a bowl" and up came his entire lunch.  He slept for about 30 minutes and woke up feeling like himself again.

Penny Arcade

Kaylee and Benji saved over $70 combined in coins to feed to the Penny Arcade at the bank today.  If you can guess the right amount of coins within $1.99 you get a small prize which was stickers this time.  Way to go kids, that's a lot of saving.

C02 Dragster - Winning Car

For Daniel's Control Technology Class, they built CO2  Dragster racecars.  After a series of races Daniel's car was crowned the ultimate winner.  He said his car got faster and faster with each race, he says it even came close to the World Record.

Environmental Center Hike

Benji completed his final Tiger Scout achievement for earning his Tiger Badge with a hike at the Meadowlands Environmental Center with his Den 1 buddies, sister Larissa came along for fun.

Julius Caesar

Daniel filmed a 70's version of Julius Caesar for his English Class project.  Larissa (got the best lines), Kaylee (an awesome director), a friend Amani (big thanks), Daniel himself (far out wow!) and little Ben  (amazing swordsman) participated, I operated the camera most of the time.  It was fun and funny, and best of all he got 100%.
